How TinyDoor handles your data

Effective: June 1, 2024

TinyDoor is a tiny, friendly waitlist and early-access platform for creators. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account data: Name, email, password (hashed), and brand details you add.
  • Waitlist and early-access data: Emails, names, invite codes, approvals/denials, and messages collected from people who join your TinyDoor.
  • Payment and billing: Plan selections, billing contacts, and transaction metadata. Payments are processed by our provider (e.g., Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser/device type, pages visited, and referring links or codes to keep the service reliable and secure.

How we use information

  • Provide and improve TinyDoor and its features.
  • Deliver creator and member communications, including approvals, launch announcements, and account notices.
  • Personalize experiences, measure performance, and understand which links or codes drive signups.
  • Prevent fraud, secure accounts, and enforce our terms and policies.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

How we share information

  • With creators: If you join a waitlist or early-access door, the creator who owns that TinyDoor can see and export the info you provide.
  • Service providers: Vendors that help us operate TinyDoor (hosting, email, analytics, payments, and security) may access data only to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety: We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights, prevent fraud or abuse, and ensure the safety of TinyDoor and its users.
  • In a business transfer, data may be shared in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets with protections in place.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand site performance, and connect referrals or access codes to signups. You can adjust cookie settings in your browser; disabling cookies may limit some features.

Data retention and deletion

We keep data as long as needed to provide TinyDoor, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Creators can delete waitlists or remove members. You can request account deletion or removal from a waitlist by emailing support@tinydoor.io.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect TinyDoor, including encryption in transit and access controls. No online service can promise perfect security; please use strong, unique passwords and report any suspicious activity.

International data transfers

TinyDoor may process and store information in countries other than where you live. When data is transferred, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

Your choices and rights

  • Opt out of marketing emails anytime using the unsubscribe link; we will still send essential service notices.
  • Manage cookies through your browser settings or device controls.
  • Request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data by contacting support@tinydoor.io. Certain requests may be limited by law or our need to provide the service.

If you are a creator

You are responsible for how you use the data you collect through TinyDoor. Use it only for the purpose your members expect (for example, managing waitlists and launches), honor removal or unsubscribe requests, and keep exports secure.
